The next club meeting is going to be on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 6:00PM in Frandsen Humanities Room 107. We are going to be watching a 1990's series special called "The Failure of Socialism" of Milton Friedman's 5 episode series "Free to Choose".

We all know that socialism doesn't work, but why doesn't it work? The ideas presented in this documentary will show how many ideas start off with great intentions, but prove to have negative consequences.

After the episode, we should discuss the current legislation and tendencies that America has recently been proposing that mimic socialistic ideals. It is imperative to quickly recognize socialistic tendencies, and it is the objective of this meeting to sharpen our radar.
